SafeToGo® is a hardware encrypted removable flash drive that protects your sensitive and confidential data. It has a USB 3.0 connector which means it is really fast and backward compatible with all USB 2.0 devices.
SafeToGo® uses a 256-bit AES, 2048-bit RSA hardware module to encrypt the data. There are no unencrypted partitions so a user cannot bypass the encryption – 100% of the data written to the device will be encrypted.
SafeToGo® does not have a backdoor or master password, it can only be accessed with the users password.
SafeToGo® is fully compliant with SafeConsole – a secure USB management server. SafeConsole is the only secure USB management platform for secure USB flash drives that has true password management (remote and local) and that integrates fully with LDAP for on-site installation.
No, you don’t. SafeToGo® is compatible with Windows, MAC OS and Linux. When you connect SafeToGo® to a computer, it automatically starts a zero-footprint GUI so a password can be created. The password is hardware verified on SafeToGo® and cannot be tampered with.
The password needs 8 characters with a minimum one capital letter and one number. This gives 218 trillion combinations. If SafeToGo® is managed by SafeConsole, a password policy can be set up including password strength and password change intervals.
SafeToGo® flash drives allow a maximum of 10 attempts to re-enter your password. If the correct password is not entered on the 10th lock, there is no way to recover the data, the drive will have to be reset and this process will automatically delete the data.
If SafeConsole is being used, the user can use the challenge/response feature to remotely reset their password on their registered SafeToGo® without losing any data.
No, you can use SafeToGo® without admin rights.
SafeToGo® can be configured by the user to lockdown after a set period of time. If this feature is enabled, the lockdown can be set between 2 and 60 minutes and there is a 30 second warning before the device will lock.

Your machine may have autorun disabled for security or it may be blocked by antivirus software. Go to file, browser and double click on the SafeToGo® launcher application ( logo) and this will launch the login interface. If the login interface still does not show, your machine may not have an up-to-date Certificate Authority list. This can be downloaded from Microsoft and installed using Windows Update
